Why? Because at this point, Aldean has earned his vacation, and he’s gonna take it. But the live campaign behind “Old Boots, New Dirt” wraps later this month and then winds down for the year. He plays shows at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday and Saturday, making him one of the few dudes still able to play multiple nights in a single city - rarefied air that these days includes Eminem, One Direction, Luke Bryan and precious few others.
